Brazil on Focus – April 2012

Brazil on Focus is over, we all had a great time and we sold 10 images during our one-day Charity Photo Exhibition.

Making of story of Brazil on Focus by André Kruger, have fun!

Once again it has happened – a week of work and adventure for photographers from all over the world! After Andalusia on Focus (2010) and Lusitanos on Focus in 2011, finally it was time for Brazil!

Brazil is a country with huge equestrian tradition, its equine population being the fifth largest in the world. Its size and many different scenarios offer limitless possibilities for wonderful photographic opportunities. From horse breeds to infrastructure to landscapes, each provides a unique perspective to be immortalized by the “On Focus” team.

This year’s workshop had organized photo shoots and a lot more adventure. Locations and shooting ops were structured to create a photojournalistic style. Participants were expected to develop their own strategy concerning timetables, routes, travel rhythm; in short, to develop their very own way of traveling and shooting.

In the last day, 29th of April, we held the vernissage of a Photo Exhibit in Belo Horizonte, and the sale of fineart prints, which funds were reverted to the Hospital Cassiano Campolina in Entre Rios, which is in severe economic need.

Dates: from the 20th to the 29th of April 2012.

Brazil on Focus already has a Facebook page where updates will be posted in real time.

We just had the ride of our life!
